Dr. Sichan Sung serves as Medical Advisor at Tau Medical, providing strategic clinical guidance across the company’s cardiovascular portfolio. His expertise in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery keeps Tau’s work grounded in clinical insight and patient‑centered care.
Before joining Tau, he held leadership roles at Pusan National University Hospital (PNUH), where he served as Chief and Professor in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He is an active member of the Korean Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.
He earned both his M.D. and Ph.D. from the College of Medicine at Pusan National University, and brings decades of experience at the intersection of academic medicine and translational cardiovascular innovation.
