Overview

Tau Medical is seeking a creative, hands-on R&D Engineer to support the development, prototyping, and pre-clinical testing of next-generation structural heart devices.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assemble medical device prototypes, including catheters, balloons, 

  meshes, and electrophysiology tools

• Conduct device testing and performance analysis
• Prepare and maintain Design History Files (DHF)
• Participate in pre-clinical studies (porcine model)
 

Requirements:

• Strong ability to research and analyze medical device concepts and technical

  literature
• Engineering mindset with hands-on prototyping and problem-solving ability
• Creative thinking and adaptability
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit, and a positive, collaborative attitude
• Ability to manage tasks independently while communicating effectively within a

  multidisciplinary team
 


Preferred Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering field
• Prior experience in medical device R&D or pre-clinical testing
• Familiarity with DHF documentation and regulatory expectations
• Proficiency in analytical instruments and material processing (polymer or metal)
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks
• Fluency in Korean or English
